So as usual, i was making my way round to the library to study? (YES!) on a freaking sunday afternoon. So no life. Ok not the point…. And becoz of my late night yesterday, i really had trouble opening my eyes to concentrate halfway through the studying. So I thought…. hmmmm ok.. Take a 10 minutes nap first before I continue becoz i see no point in continuing anyway in that kind of condition..
So i hibernated my comp and put my arms around it and layed my head onto the table. The next thing I know around 5 minutes later, I felt a hand tapping on my shoulders. Ok so I had a little shock and jumped out of my sleeping mode. Then the librarian asked – Are you slping here?? Like duh, can’t you see I have a full table of notes in front of me. Obviously I’m just taking a short nap lah. Nevermind coz actually i have to thank her for the wakeup call which fully woke and refresh me up for the my second half of studying.
And then, 3 hours later……
The same feeling came back again and I really can’t take it anymore. Head down on the table AND 5 minutes LATER…….. the same hand came tapping on my shoulders.. This time round i was really rather pissed. Can’t u see im studying very hard and need some nap to refresh my mind and eyes abit??!! And there you came tapping on my shoulders and waking me up AGAIN!!!!! So for the nx 3 hours or so I did my work faithfully. From the glass reflection, I can see her passing by quite a few times in the 3 hours. Has she got nothing better to do than to go around waking ppl up from the small naps? Or is she just faithfully doing her job? Its up to one to judge. But to me as a victim, I would rather say pls no tapping on my shoulders again. You can perform ur job on people who scream and shout in the library instead. I don’t really need any wakeup calls. But thanks anyway…
